Adore Inc.’s management is certainly excited about these new products, and as a treat, has been giving its team members the chance to spend time with other team members outside of work. A number of events have been held recently which not only act as a reward for hard work, but also serves to improve team work and offer light training opportunities. Not long ago, there was an ice cream evening at Page’s Dairy held for the regular Team Night, which went incredibly well.
“Our team members absolutely loved the ice cream night,” Management commented. “Itwas a great chance for people to relax after all their hard work, and proved to be a fantastic opportunity to get to know one another better.”
This Year’s Summer Interns Praise Adore Inc. for Their Professionalism
This year, Adore Inc. has had a number of interns working within the company, experiencing what it’s like to work in a marketing and sales company. Interns were given a number of roles within the office, and had the opportunity to not only learn about the products being sold, but also how to be an effective representative. They were even taught some of the tricks of the trade in the marketing and sales field.
One of the interns was asked whether she would be interested in interning with Adore Inc. again, and she replied, “Yes, I learned something new every day, was able to set goals, see my progress, and work toward a management position. The opportunity to own and manage your own company is an excellent opportunity I would love to come back and work toward. Also, the environment and attitude of the Adore, Inc. community is very welcoming and positive. I flourished in such a nourishing environment.”
Another positive comment came when the intern was asked how the internship experience helped her to how as a person and as a professional worker. Julia commented, “Learning the systems, attending morning meetings, participating in conference calls, and networking taught me so much about sales and marketing and the business as a whole. The information I learned will help me in the future in other sales and marketing positions as I can apply it in several situations as well as in the professional world where I will need to be active on many more conference calls and continue to network.”
The positive feedback from the interns this year has been particularly positive, which has led management to embrace the project for future quarters. Members of the management team have announced their intention to continue the program, ensuring that many more interns get the opportunity to learn about the marketing and sales industry from its experts.
