DUBAI MEDIA CITY, United Arab Emirates -- AXA accelerates its expansion in Bahrain; by opening a new shop at Al Hayat Mall
In a step that emphasizes its committed expansion plans in the Kingdom of Bahrain, AXA Gulf – one of the largest and the leading non-life international insurers in the Middle East – has announced the opening of its new AXA Shop at Al Hayat Mall in Manama.
The shop, which opened its doors to the public on August 17th, is located on the ground level of Al Hayat Mall, adjacent to Costa Coffee and opposite the Waitrose main entrance. This new shop is the fifth of its’ kind in the Kingdom. Responding to the needs of their customers, AXA Gulf is dedicated to enhancing their presence in order to ensure customers are afforded a variety of options, accessibility and convenience, 7 days a week.
Our unwavering dedication towards investment in the Kingdom has been received very well by our customers, both existing and new. Over the last twelve months, AXA Shops have seen more than 100% growth in customer enquiries and overall demand for a multitude of products, across all our locations. These include: Lulu Centre in Hidd, Bahrain City Centre in Seef; Nakheel Centre in Saar, Ramli Mall in A’Ali and of course our new shop in Al Hayat Mall in Manama.

The new AXA shop extends all personal lines products and services, such as Motor, Home, Travel, Medical, Personal Accident, Motorcycle and Relocation, among others.
AXA is looking at expanding aggressively its multi access distribution model, notably the AXA Shops. “We now have over 20 shops in the region and planning to open 10 more before the end of the year. Our success is mainly attributed to our efforts to respond to our customers’ expectations and we are very grateful to our clients, partners and shareholders for their trust,” added Mr. Droesch.
