Executive Leaders Take Stock of New Developments in Strategic Thinking, Planning and Execution

CENTRAL LONDON, U.K. -- Having an operational strategy for growth is critical for any European business, but with the market changing so rapidly and businesses having to adapt quicker than ever before, creating and executing a breakthrough business strategy is becoming increasingly challenging for many European businesses. In order to encourage more strategic thinking, a chance for collaboration and a forum for discussion is needed for executives to take stock, share experiences and stimulate the brain cells.

“Everyone is too agenda driven. They think that meetings must have specific outcomes or they’re a waste of time. This is not always the case. To truly be strategic, sometimes you just have to set aside some time to talk,” says David Silverstein, BMGI’s CEO and founder. “As business leaders we need to turn back the clock to a more intellectual and less hurried time in order to move things forward.”

Over the past six months, BMGI has done just that—created an intellectual forum for senior leadership from across Europe to discuss the challenges and brainstorm solutions to this ongoing strategy dilemma. The conversations arising from these leadership meetings have been captured in three reports designed to help executives and their teams keep their finger on the pulse of key developments:

Executive Pulse Report 1: (http://www.bmgi.com/sites/bmgi.com/files/eu_breakfast/Exe...) Initial scoping report covering challenges with strategy deployment in the Financial Services sector
Executive Pulse Report 2: (http://www.bmgi.com/sites/bmgi.com/files/eu_breakfast/Exe...) A deep dive into innovation and strategy in Financial Services
Executive Pulse Report 3: (http://www.bmgi.com/sites/bmgi.com/files/eu_breakfast/BMG...) Cross industry report covering innovation, global delivery models and customer segmentation

These discussions will be continued on a quarterly basis in locations around Europe. Future sessions scheduled and open for executive invite are:

- 19th September, London: Cross Industry Briefing
- 17th October, London: Financial Services Briefing
- 22nd November, Amsterdam: Cross Industry Briefing

Executive Breakfast Briefings are by invite only for senior executives. Interested leaders wishing to join the discussions are requested to email Megan James at info.eu@bmgi.com or call +44(0)7788292824.
