Renowned NYC makeup artist, Elise Firestone, launched a campaign today via Indiegogo (similar to KickStarter) to raise funds for her business with 20% of the proceeds going toward finding a cure for pulmonary hypertension.

A contribution to her campaign will supply you with perks, from lip-gloss from her makeup line to bridal party styling. Firestone is raising funds for her business and sending 20% of the proceeds to pulmonary hypertension research-a disease Firestone suffered from as a young adult.

“At the age of 19, I faced a personal triumph after battling a life threatening disease called pulmonary hypertension,” states the makeup artist in her campaign.

“I am extremely lucky to be able to continue with my passion of being fit and active.”

Firestone styles brides, offers makeup application lessons and is a notable stylist for amateur and pro fitness competitors.
