SONY MAX announces Sawai Madhopur’s Prashant Varshny as the winner of their Aashiqui2 contest!

MAX, the Premium Hindi Movies and Special Events channel has always come up with extraordinary and first of its kind activities to promote their movie premiers on television. Recently MAX had announced a unique contest for the World Television Premier of the blockbuster Aashiqui 2. Viewers simply had to answer the questions asked during the movie through an SMS. The contest was a huge hit and MAX received an overwhelming response with lakhs of people participating. Prashant Varshny from Sawai Madhopur turned out to be the lucky winner of this contest and MAX flew him down to Mumbai for an all-expense paid meet and greet with the Aashiqui 2 stars Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur. Prashant Varshny was one amongst the 10 shortlisted lucky winners across India.



It was Prashant Varshny’s first experience to the city of Bollywood and he stayed in one of Mumbai’s top luxurious hotel. The icing on the cake was an exclusive and sumptuous dinner with his favorite stars, Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur. After a wonderful evening with the stars, Prashant Varshny shared his feelings saying, “I bought two sim cards especially for the Aashiqui contest and kept messaging till my fingers started hurting, I also messaged from my wife’s phone. I wasn’t expecting Aditya and Shraddha themselves to come and meet us. I am very happy I participated in the MAX Aashiqui 2 contest and got the opportunity to meet them. I thank Sony MAX for this opportunity and would always cherish these memories for years to come.”
