THE Heart Of Texas Airshow takes off September 28th in Waco, Texas at TSTC Waco Airport. Debby Standefer, President of The Heart Of Texas Airshow, states “we are very exited to be hosted by Texas State Technical College in Waco, flying from their incredible airport, previously known as James Connally AFB, and helping TSTC show off their state of the art Aviation and Aerospace Division (they have a champion flight team of their own) as well as many of the departments and programs TSTC offers.” Be sure to look for the TSTC exhibit area at the festival! Waco is very focused on aviation with its own Waco Aviation Business Alliance. Many of these businesses will be participating in the event and we are proud to be able to bring attention to, and support, aviation in Waco.
The Airshow is proud to honor our military. While the festival will commemorate those who have served and are serving in our military services throughout, Opening Ceremonies at the start of the air show will be action packed including honor guards, fly-bys, skydivers and more!

There is something for everyone to enjoy, from strolling the beautiful Cameron Park to over 20 attractions and museums, as well as numerous shopping establishments and restaurants.
“Airshows have a tremendous impact on the public, the sponsors and the economy with the ability to reach all demographics and cross all lifestyles. We will provide strong economic generation to the Waco area that will grow through the years” Debby Standefer said. The Heart Of Texas Airshow looks forward to working with local businesses and organizations. We are accepting vendors, exhibitors and volunteers. “Sponsorship is invaluable to an event. It enables the event to grow in every way. We work with our sponsors to develop active integrated programs not only to promote the sponsor and assist them in achieving their goals, but to create a positive experience for them on site for the public. The attendance this event garners not only locally, but from spectators throughout the state and from Dallas to Austin, gives us the ability to market not only our sponsors but to showcase and promote TSTC and the city of Waco while at the same time becoming an important revenue source for the city through lodging, retail and food sales in town through the weekend. Donations will be made to the TSTC Foundation for scholarships, the Veterans Airlift Command and volunteering non-profits.
