SAN LEANDRO, Calif. -- Fear Overload, California’s Haunted Scream Park, creaks open its doors this September 28th, 2013. Fear Overload offers two haunted house attractions at BayfairCenter in San Leandro, California. But these are no ordinary haunted houses. “We specialize in the ri-di-cu-lous,” claims Nathan Polanco, Fear Overload’s owner. “We manufacture the most outrageous, heart-throbbing attractions imaginable.” Fear Overload annually fills a 12,000 sq ft space with two gargantuan labyrinths, both designed to horrify even the bravest of souls. Last year in 2012, Fear Overload’s haunted houses were voted the scariest in California by HauntWorld, the largest haunt reviewing site. As Polanco claims, many of the votes were sparked by their award winning haunted house titled “Asylum” which Fear Overload offered in 2012.

Fear Overload’s mission is different than most. The owners are all about breaking barriers and going where no haunt has gone before. “Our vision is to revolutionize the haunted house industry - to change the haunted house experience into something grotesquely genius. Fear Overload’s attractions are also for adults only, as their website states. “We have invested hundreds of thousands of dollars to create the most intense experience in California. If you’re under 15 years old, pregnant, or faint at heart, then don’t even show up.”
