This year, Cincom will be sponsoring the event in sunny North Queensland and are excited to announce the launch of the Cincom Customer Immersion Experience (CIE).
The Cincom CIE is a hands-on system where users can re-enact real-life business scenarios within the Microsoft productivity suite based on function and role. Cincom’s configuration, quoting and pricing technology is built in to show users how quick and easy it can be to configure complex quotes, proposals and products within the Microsoft environment.
“The Microsoft Customer Immersion Experience was launched at APC last year and we saw a real opportunity for our ISV solutions. Forget slideshows or rigidly scripted scenarios,” says Greg Mills, Cincom Systems of Australia Country Manager. “Cincom’s CIE builds on Microsoft’s CIE to let you run the controls and view Cincom’s technology working within the broader Microsoft ecosystem in the way that applies to your business.”
One of the key features of Cincom configuration technology is its ability to help complex businesses quickly and accurately handle customised orders, frequently referred to as customer specials.
“It’s an on-demand world,” says Greg Mills, Cincom Systems of Australia Country Manager. “You can no longer be competitive if it takes you two weeks to get an accurate quote to a customer – no matter how customised your product or service is.”
Cincom functionality is accessed natively within Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Dynamics AX. Additional icons representing the new functionality are present within both systems allowing for a familiar user experience.
