PRESTON, U.K. -- Magalomania, a unique new magnetic educational system devised and developed by Lancashire-based magnetic wall covering pioneers Forrest & Jones has been installed at the Lake District Visitor Centre at Brockhole overlooking Lake Windermere.
An entire wall at the centre has been transformed into a child-friendly Lake District scene complete with appropriate flora and fauna utilising the unique Forrest & Jones Magalomania technology and using magnetic paints, backing material and magnetic shapes.
Child visitors are encouraged to play with magnetic cut-outs of popular Lake District wild life and plants which can be placed anywhere on the magnetic mural.
“We were delighted to be asked to supply Magalomania to Brockhole and I am sure it will be a popular attraction with the youngsters,” said Gareth Jones, Managing Director of Preston-based Forrest & Jones which specialises in the production of commercial and contract digital wallpaper, wallpaper murals and magnetic wall-coverings.
Brockhole Team Leader Nicky Wood said of the new Magalomania installation: “It’s bright, it’s colourful and I have no doubt the children will be queuing up to play with it before very long.”
