Indian Institute of Photography, Asia’s first institute to run online photography courses, organized a photography workshop for the under privileged children of Smile Foundation at Nai Disha Education Society in Noida. The focus of the workshop was Basics of Photography, How to use Camera and How to care for your camera. It was one of the great initiatives by the Institute towards achieving and spreading love and passion for photography with the kids of Smile Foundation.
In his message, Mr. Rajesh Goyal, Director Indian Institute of Photography said, “The core idea behind this workshop was to nurture young minds who are keen to learn the tricks of photography. It was entirely a kids-centric workshop where they enjoyed learning camera handling and other basics of photography. It was an amazing experience to see the children learning skills, out-of-the-box ideas and a fresh new approach towards life."
Asia’s first photography institute to offer online photography course, Indian Institute of Photography was started in 2010 with a vision to provide professional learning to ardent photography enthusiasts. The institute prides itself on its student centric approach and its handling of photography as a professional, vocational subject. The institute’s Online courses include Beginners Photography Course and Foundation Photography Course while Regular courses include Weekend Photography, Sunday Photography, Photo Break, Fashion and Commercial Photography. Headed by Mr. Rajesh Goyal, the institute has its main campus in Noida. It has recently started a new campus in Naraina, New Delhi while another in ABW Tower, Gurgaon.
Recently the Institute has added one more feather to its cap by winning Dialogue India Magazine's Editor Choice Education Excellency (http://www.indianinstituteofphotography.com/iip-bags-dial...) Award for its innovation in Photography Education. The coveted award was conferred by Lt. Gen. K.M. Seth, Ex. Governor, Chhattisgarh, Tripura, and was jointly received by the Director Trio of IIP (http://www.indianinstituteofphotography.com/rajesh-goyal) - Shri Rajesh Goyal, Shri Shailesh Goyal and Shri Akash Gupta.
