PARIS, France -- The iOS game (both iPhone and iPad) uses quotes from some of the most famous people of this world to offer a unique gameplay experience: Finding the *Whatchama*, the “word missing” in a remarkable sentence of our history.
Bibiana Bertone, Marketing manager at Deadpan Dodo, commented last week: “We have been working on the concept of Whatchama for over 6 months now, which is an extremely long development cycle for a simple word game. But we wanted to make it right to the last details, with the perfect set of quotes, and with enough content to please even our most talented users. So we hand-picked over 4000 quotes, and the result is a content that offers at least 100 hours of brainteasing!”.
With a very wide range of authors, from Bob Dylan to Eisenhower, from Churchill to Napoleon, from Confucius to Buddha, and Chaplin to Jesus, the quotes are at times funny, sad, inspiring, mind-blowing, sometimes even scary or life-changing and allow users to rediscover great moments and authors throughout history.
“After FAST 4 WORDS (previous game of Deadpan Dodo), which was really fast-paced and solo oriented, we wanted to work on a game that could potentially be played alone but could really liberate its full potential with a group of friends or the family around, without the pressure of a timer. And as always with our studio, the “Fun while smart” element needed to be present somehow in the mix. It was with those requirements in mind that we created WHATCHAMA, and we feel like we reached even more than what we were aiming for!” commented Dimitri Delattre, CEO/CCO at Deadpan Dodo.
WHATCHAMA is available for free on the appStore for all iOS devices.
