SEATTLE -- SWITZERLAND: Swiss watchmakers Romain Jeromecontinues to ride the markets as a ‘different’ watch maker that literally went off the planet to the bottom of the ocean in search of new materials to make its Titanic watches.
Unlike other watchmakers who made historical commemorative watches using materials recovered from famous places Romain Jerome Watches were going hard than anybody else.
Year 2008-- launched Moon-DNA watch which incorporates metal from the Apollo 11 spaceship as well as moon dust.
Year 2010- Launched Moon Invader
In 2010 Manuel Emch took over as CEO. Today RJ-Romain Jerome has 150 points of sales globally. Its first European shop-in-shop was set up in Luzern, Switzerland. In 2010, RJ-Romain Jerome's advertising campaign was awarded the Prix Coup de Coeur Créativité.
Its Titanic DNA series has each luxury timepiece being chemically stabilized to keep decay at bay.
De Grisogono
De Grisogono (http://www.jzandf.com/store/category/de-grisogono) is the most expensive watch for men. The watch will give the wearer the ability to change the look of the dial by cycling through four possible complications in addition to the time. Finishes of de Grisogono are admired for the movement of parts and surfaces. It looks nice but in a modern and unique way.
Aside from its magical mechanical Mecchanico DG watch, this Otturatore from Otturatore cannot be understood or appreciated unless you get to play with one.
De Grisogono grande watches are rarely seen in normal hands. Nice metal framing with a beautiful dial makes the watch royal as well as fabulous in nature mulberry. Debuted in 2008, it bridges the gap between modern tech toys and mechanical watches.
The Otturatore watch comes in gold and in five different versions. There might be a titanium version in the future, it is hoped. Those looking for fun will have to go for the gold as the case is large and chunky. It is 45mm wide by about 50mm tall.
