Hair transplants consist of moving donor hair-follicle groupings, called follicular units, from healthy parts of the scalp and transplanting them to areas of hair loss. Robotic Hair Transplants mechanize the extraction of these follicular units, allowing scientific precision without an incision.

Robotic Hair transplants have many advantages over traditional hair transplant procedures. In addition to eliminating the need for multiple procedures, Robotic Hair Transplants are also minimally invasive to the patient. In much the same way laser surgery often replaces traditional surgery, robotic transplants eliminate the need for an incision. This results in a less painful and faster recovery as well as minimal scarring.
Robotic Hair Transplants use high-resolution digital imaging to visualize the patient’s exact scalp surface and determine the density and distribution of hair follicles. The ARTAS system uses mathematical algorithms to ensure the most accurate and precise hair follicle extraction.
