Seegrid Corporation, the leading manufacturer of vision-guided robotic industrial trucks, announced the appointment of John Snyder, as OEM sales director. Michael M. Hasco, Chief Growth Officer for Seegrid explained why supporting OEM partners is critical to the continued expansion of the organization. “Seegrid has always been keenly aware of the vision-guided technology used on Seegrid’s robotic industrial trucks as seen equally valuable to our OEM partners. In recognition of our committed partners, we are proud to add a dedicated resource to the Seegrid team as a way to express the value in our overall corporate strategy,” stated Hasco.
Initially, Snyder will be responsible for designing and implementing the Seegrid launch plan for The Raymond Corporation, a Guided by Seegrid OEM partner. Snyder will provide product sales and service training to The Raymond Corporation’s dealer service and sales networks.
Snyder was most recently at the Welch Equipment Company, an authorized Toyota and Raymond dealership. Snyder expressed his excitement at this unique opportunity and challenge to apply his application and industry experience within the emerging automation market. “As companies become more lean and are required to do more with less, to gain competitive advantage and profitability, the application of the Seegrid technology will have a direct impact on labor cost reduction, fleet size, and fleet configuration,” said Snyder.
Beyond supporting The Raymond Corporation, Hasco stated, Snyder will take a leadership role as the company adds new OEMs. “Snyder speaks the same language as our OEM partners, he was one of them. Snyder is our OEM partners’ advocate.”
