LICHFIELD, U.K. -- Springfields Pre-School & Day Nursery, which is part of the leading nationwide nursery group Asquith, is holding the open day on Saturday 13th July; the day will be full of cheer, fun and celebrations, and everyone is welcome to come along!

Although the Queen is unable to attend the event herself, Buckingham Palace responded to the children’s kind invitation, stating: "Her Majesty hopes that you will all have a very happy day on 13th July, and The Queen send her thanks and good wishes to you all."

The nursery children recently celebrated Her Majesty’s Official Birthday, sending brightly-coloured and carefully-made cards to Buckingham Palace and the open day it all about celebrating the new Royal arrival which the children are very excited about.

Nursery Manager Helen Marquise said of the exciting response: "The children put a lot of hard work into their cards and invitation, and what a fantastic response! We can’t wait to display our special letter on the wall at our open day."
