Vato Cigars is a tiny shop inside of Binion's Casino that packs a big punch. They feature their own hand rolled cigars amongst other popular brands. The cigars that they make are inspired by their own lives and what they like to smoke. They have a Las Vegas Blend, Kansas Blend, Aloha Blend and a Luchador Line. There is a story behind each cigar, read the stories at VatoCigars.com. This year at IPCPR, the world's largest cigar trade show, Vato Cigars debuts it's line.
“We opened three years ago when the economy was at it's lowest point. We knew if we could make it through that first summer, we could make it though anything. Terry Caudill, the owner of Binion's took a chance on us and leased us the space. We glassed in the original check-in desk and started rolling our cigars right in front of the shop. We are so proud to be inside historic Binion's Casino,” the owner Paul Vato explains.
Paul and his wife Sarah have a background in comedy and hints of that shine through when you enter their store. The “All You Can Smoke Cigar Buffet” is a good example of their sense of humor. “For $29.99 you get a wrist band and you can choose from any of the cigars we make and a wide variety of main stream brands. You smoke one at a time, go where ever you want, come back and grab another one for eight hours. It's a great way to try new cigars and experience Downtown for an evening!” says Sarah Vato.
The Vatos will bring their cigars and the spirit of Downtown Las Vegas to IPCPR for the first time this year.
