John B. Olson is an award-winning novelist, scientist, speaker and entrepreneur who lives in San Leandro, California. He has a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and has started three software companies. John is the author of six novels, including Fossil Hunter, Oxygen, and Shade.
Dubbed the accidental author, Debbie Alsdorf is a popular author and speaker with nine nonfiction books published. She has served in women’s ministry for 25 years. Debbie is the founder of Design4Living and serves as a lay counselor. She and her husband Ray raised a blended family and together wrote the best-selling book Beyond the Brady Bunch. She lives in Livermore, California with two little dogs and the joy of being a first-time grandparents. Debbie will share about her Nonfiction Writing Journey, the Spiritual Life of a Writer and provide Practical Pointers for Anyone Writing a Book.
Winners of the Write to Inspire One Sheet Pitching contest will pitch their projects to Jessica Kristie of Winter Goose Publishing.In addition to receiving the winning pitches, Jessica will share with conference attendees what they need to know about Winter Goose Publishing and their newest imprint, Hallway Publishing, which is currently seeking new authors in fiction, non-fiction and poetry.Winter Goose Publishing is a small press founded in 2011.
