BASINGSTOKE, U.K. -- Tyddyn Llan, the Michelin starred ‘Restaurant with Rooms’ located on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales, is staging a unique gourmet night on Sunday 14 July.
Host chef and proprietor Bryan Webb, will be joined by fellow award-winning chefs Roger Jones and Jonny Brown from The Harrow at Little Bedwyn, to produce a mouth-watering, eight course, tasting menu.
Each course will be accompanied by a glass of wine, carefully chosen to match by wine enthusiast Roger Jones.
The evening will commence with a Champagne reception and canapés; the full menu will include:
· Foie gras macaroon with salted caramel & cured salmon with Wasabi curd
· Duck bon bon with apple, PX caramel
· Poached Pembroke lobster, carrot & cardamom Tea
· Caramelized Kelmscott pork with chilli Squid
· Turbot, Hen in the Woods, Ox Cheek
· Ceredigion lamb, aubergine & tomato confit, Mint Yogurt
· Pre dessert: boiled egg & soldiers
· Mini Dessert Platter
The dinner costs £90 per person, including wines.
Guests who wish to stay overnight can do so at the special rate of £145 pp (two sharing), including à la carte breakfast cooked by Bryan Webb.
