KNAECO Launches the Nonprofit Marketplace Blog
(June 23, 2013) KNAECO International, a consulting company offering services to nonprofits and businesses, has launched a blog site for charitable organizations titled the Nonprofit Marketplace.
The Nonprofit Marketplace is designed to be a networking, informational and service site primarily for nonprofits and non-governmental agencies. There will also be additional promotional services for nonprofits that are KNAECO’s clients and others who may wish to advertise on the site.
"In order for a nonprofit to survive in the 21st century, it will take more than a village or city to sustain it," said Kausar Ahmad, president of KNAECO.
There are reportedly 1,537,465 nonprofits in the United States according to the May 2013 report generated by the National Center for Charitable Statistics (NCCS). The number of nonprofits created each year more or less equal the numbers shut down by the IRS.
“Knowing that over 40,000 to 60,000 nonprofits may be created each year, existing nonprofits may face a number of challenges in the areas of fundraising and grants as the competition continues to be stiff, particularly after the recent recession,” commented John Porter, vice president of KNAECO.
To facilitate and navigate through the maze of sustainability, KNAECO is also offering customized trainings in the areas of leadership/governance, fund development and program design to nonprofits and non-governmental organizations.
The blog site will be updated weekly as KNAECO outreaches to nonprofits around the country while engaging the nonprofits to promote its services and products in the Nonprofit Marketplace.
