The in:spa story

Co-founder Kathryn Brierley was inspired to launch in:spa after spending ten years working in the City. She spotted a gap in the market for a more holistic fitness holiday experience, combining delicious detox cuisine, running, hiking, fitness as well as yoga and pampering touches such as massages.

The in:spa formula is carefully designed to offer clients a relaxing environment where they could take advantage of experts who are flown out to each location such as yoga teachers, chefs, nutritionists and personal fitness trainers. They design personalised programmes for guests, as well as running fun group activities such as hiking and circuit training.

The retreats are all based around three key elements - cleansing food, exercise and relaxation. A typical day includes an early morning yoga class, hiking, personal fitness training, nutritional consultation and a massage. Current locations include a former monastery in Andalucía, a fairy tale French chateau in Provence and a luxury villa in the Palmerie district of Marrakesh.

Cost: 7 nights all inclusive accommodation is usually priced from £2,195 per person based on 2 sharing (£2,795 for single occupancy).
