February 07, 2025 - KP Energy has successfully commissioned 25.8 MW of wind power as part of its 28.6 MW project at the Vagra Site in Bharuch. This includes the installation and operation of 11 wind turbine generators, as confirmed in a regulatory filing.

The remaining 2.8 MW capacity is currently under development and is expected to be operational by the end of the month. With this milestone, the company's total independent power producer (IPP) capacity now stands at 45.7 MW.

"This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to renewable energy expansion and aligns with India's long-term clean energy goals," the company stated.

Further strengthening its presence, KP Energy commissioned 6.3 MW (Phase-XI) of its ISTS-connected wind power project at Sidhpur, Devbhoomi Dwarka, in January 2025. This project is part of a larger 250.8 MW wind energy capacity awarded to Apraava Energy under SECI's Tranche-VIII bidding. With this latest commissioning, the total cumulative capacity at the Sidhpur site has reached 252 MW.
