James S. Stameson Celebrated for Dedication to the Field of Engineering and Manufacturing

NEWPORT COAST, CA, January 18, 2025 - James S. Stameson has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Hailing from over four decades of experience in the field of engineering and manufacturing, Mr. Stameson has found success as the president and chief executive officer of Plasma Ruggedized Solutions (PRS), a leader in advanced protective coatings and other engineering applications. In this capacity, he works closely with the operations and marketing department on proposals and customer meetings, creating metrics and setting attainable goals for the teams under his oversight.

Having co-founded PRS in 2008, Mr. Stameson is proud to have led the company to a position of leadership in providing quality products for clients in a wide variety of industries, including aerospace. Notably, PRS has been certified by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, the International Organization for Standardization and NAGAP, The Association for Graduate Enrollment Management.

Previously, Mr. Stameson was active as the principal and chief executive officer for Aegis Precision Technologies. He also availed himself as the president of Qual Pro Corporation, the senior vice president and general manager of Aurora Electronics, the director of operations for Vickers at the Eaton Corporation, where he was responsible for a division worth approximately $150 million, and the director of business operations at Parker Aerospace. Mr. Stameson began his professional journey as a program manager for contracts and operations at Hughes Aircraft, where he excelled in intelligence and international initiatives.

Mr. Stameson initially studied finance and international business at the Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1981. Following this accomplishment, he attained a Master of Business Administration in finance and marketing at Pepperdine University in 1985. He would later receive certification in program management at the Program Management School of American Graduate University in 1992. Mr. Stameson also undertook coursework in mechanical engineering and orbital mechanics at the California Institute of Technology.

To remain aware of developments in the field, Mr. Stameson has maintained his affiliation with such organizations as the Association for Corporate Growth in Silicon Valley, where he has sat on the board since 2008. Noted for his achievements in the field, he is most proud to have contributed to the invention and patenting of Kryptos-17, an advanced epoxy compound designed for use in challenging space environments. The name "Krypto-17" derives from the fact that it took the inventors 17 attempts to perfect its formula.

In accounting for his success, Mr. Stameson credits the role of his parents, who instilled in him the values of humility and hard work. Looking ahead, he aspires to continue leading PRS in its expansion and development, especially as it enters new markets.
