Since 1998, she has been instrumental in managing the company's financial records, payroll, taxes, quotes, purchasing and human resources. She is very proud of utilizing self-directed learning and practical experience to master working with accounting software despite her lack of formal education in the field.
Before her tenure at Westar Plastics LLC, Ms. Goltare honed her skills at Tomco Plastics, where she served as a press operator from 1989 to 1995. Concurrent with this role, she worked her way up to material handler at the same company from 1995 to 1998. She decided to leave Tomco Plastics in March of 1998 after her 3rd child was born to be a stay at home mom and help her husband with the bookkeeping of Westar Plastics.
Ms. Goltare's journey into entrepreneurship was inspired by her and her husband's shared experience working at an injection molding factory in Bryan, Ohio. Motivated to start their own venture, her husband initially launched the business as a sole proprietor in 1996. By 2000, Ms. Goltare joined him full-time, taking charge of the financial aspects of the company and becoming vice president alongside her husband, who serves as president.
Ms. Goltare's educational background includes a high school diploma. She has gained further industry expertise through her membership with the National Federation of Independent Business. Throughout her career, she has attributed much of her success to word-of-mouth recommendations from satisfied clients. These endorsements have significantly contributed to the reputation and growth of the business.
In her personal life, Ms. Goltare enjoys contributing civically to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and cherishes spending time with her grandchildren and family. Looking ahead, she aims to enhance sales performance at Westar Plastics LLC with the ultimate goal of retiring within the next few years.
