She is deeply engaged in community initiatives, partnering with local medical schools and high schools to enhance outreach. She also oversees essential internal functions such as budgeting and communication while collaborating closely with the state medical society. As the federation representative, she advocates for the interests of county medical society executives at both state and federal levels.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Savelidis served as a business consultant for a private health care company in Roselle, New Jersey, from 2017 to 2019. Her expertise in operations and strategic planning was further honed during her tenure as the executive director of operations at Preferred Gold Home Care from 2017 until 2018. In 2017, she briefly held the role of executive director at Privatus Care Solutions, where she focused on policy and procedure development.

Between 2015 and 2017, Ms. Savelidis was the national director of operations at CareBuilders at Home. She spent significant time earlier in her career with BAYADA Home Health Care, having served as the area director from 2013 to 2014 and the director from 2007 until 2012. She initially entered the home health care field as a manager at Home Instead from 2004 to 2007. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership and management skills, contributing significantly to health care initiatives and public health.

Providing Ms. Savelidis with a strong foundation in health care management and business development has been her academic achievements. She earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Hofstra University in 2000, followed by a Master of Science in gerontology from the same institution in 2002. In addition, she is currently pursuing a doctorate in health care administration at Capella University.

She has volunteered with ALS United Greater New York since 2007 and the Alzheimer's Association since 2017. Her commitment to community service extends to her time volunteering with Midnight Run NY from 1997 until 2000 and participating in local toy drives and community initiatives.

Looking ahead, Ms. Savelidis is dedicated to enhancing the impact of the Nassau County Medical Society by addressing challenges such as physician burnout and mental health issues while supporting medical students facing financial difficulties.
