As a Director of Strategy and Transactions at EY-Parthenon since 2022, he has been instrumental in planning and executing high-stakes corporate transactions from an operational standpoint. His expertise has been pivotal in facilitating complex mergers and acquisitions, including his most significant accomplishment to date: the successful merger of two prominent multinational companies within the metals and mining industry. This merger, finalized in early 2024, is a testament to Mr. Royce's ability to navigate intricate negotiations and align all business facets for enhanced growth and success. Today, Mr. Royce supports EY's Finance and Operations organization with special project management and day-to-day operation of the firm.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Royce served as a Consultant in the Strategy and Transactions practice at EY-Parthenon from 2020 to 2022. His journey with the firm began as a summer intern in 2019. Also in 2019, he contributed to academia as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Michigan in the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, and participated in a life-changing philanthropic project as an MBA consultant for Aravind Eye Care System in Chennai, India.

Before embarking on these pursuits, Mr. Royce built a strong foundation in finance through various roles. From 2016 to 2018, he was a Client Service Senior Specialist at J.P. Morgan, where he worked with the bank's high net worth clients to effectively manage their investment accounts. He also worked as a Regional Consultant at Goldman Sachs from 2015 to 2016 and as a Financial Advisor at McAdam Financial in Chicago from 2013 to 2015.

Mr. Royce's educational background has been instrumental in shaping his career trajectory. He earned a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Strategy and Finance from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in 2020. Prior to that, he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of Michigan in 2013.
