Here are just some of the latest releases on the Storm Warning Entertainment outlet, Code 7 Vinyl:
· Yes – Magnification
Following on from the release of Open Your Eyes from prog rock legends Yes on vinyl last year, Code 7 Music can now announce the release of their 19th studio album from 2001 on the same format. “Magnification” is a marked departure from the band’s previous output, with a sound based on orchestra music rather than their signature keyboards. The first 1000 copies of “Magnification” will be available on limited edition coloured vinyl.
· The Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation – Roadburn
The fifth live album from the droning improve group formed from the Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble, “Roadburn” was recorded in April 2012 as the band headlined the main stage of the Roadburn Festival in Tilburg, Netherlands. With blistering guitars fused with electronic sounds and classic cellos and trombones, “Roadburn” is said to be the Corporation’s darkest journey yet.
· Ulver – 1967
Pioneers of the Norwegian black metal scene, Ulver recorded their own interpretations of some of their favourite psychedelic tracks from the 60s, over a number of sessions between 2008 and 2011. Ulver performed these tracks live for the first, and only, time at the Roadburn festival in 2012, and every minute of that energetic performance is captured on this live album.
