7Hedge is proud to announce and welcome Alex Spiroglou as its Director of Trader Training and Development.

Mr Spiroglou will head the highly specialised 7Hedge Trader Training and Development service, contribute to product development and expand the offering amongst 7Hedge’s growing client base of Stock Exchanges, Brokerages, Banks and Governments.

Mr Spiroglou joins 7Hedge from a background as an investment manager at Odin Capital Management, proprietary trader for Futex Proprietary Investment & Trading House and cross asset research for the Ulysses Global Macro Hedge Fund. Mr Spiroglou is a quasi-systematic, cross asset proprietary trader and has been researching and developing cross asset trading strategies for over 15 years. Mr Spiroglou’s trading background enables him to add a strong element of realism to 7Hedge’s tailor made trader training programmes, guaranteeing complete relevancy.

Mr Spiroglou is the Founding Chairman of the UK Chapter of the Market Technicians Association and also serves on the International Advisory Panel of the Market Technicians Association Educational Foundation (MTAEF). The MTA is the largest Technical Analysis Association in the world, having 4,200 members in 85 countries, and administers the famous CMT professional designation exam.

Mr Spiroglou holds a BSc in Banking and International Finance from Cass Business School in London, CFTe designation by the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA), a diploma of Technical Analysis – DipTA (ATAA) administered by the Australian Technical Analysts Association (ATAA), has a full member designation of the Society of Technical Analysts in the UK (MSTA), the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) administered by the UK Society of Investment Professionals.
