Neolegacy is a newly launched company who aims to become a respectable information technology community while having fun at the same time. They believe that an information technology career should not consist of hours behind a computer all alone. The founder stated: “Sometimes the question is not what you know, but who you know that makes a difference. We believe that Neolegacy is a good place to build those contacts”.
Neolegacy was founded on 28 April 2011 by Willie Theron a young aspiring PHP programmer and officially launched on 9 April 2013 after spending nearly 2 years in planning and development. Their website consists of a social networking platform, forums, a library section for tutorials and an event section just to name a few.
They have also announced the launch of their first event that will run from the 1 June 2013 to the 31 July 2013. The first event requires all competitors to complete 10 logic puzzles ranging from easy to almost impossible while showing a live ranking system of the top 50 competitors. Their future event plans is to bring in sponsored industry specific events which will be both fun and rewarding.
