In his current role as the principal and lead strategist at Hospitality Arts, a strategy & design firm that specializes in crafting high-profile and high-performance venues, Mr. Talbot aims to transform the public and professional perception of the hospitality industry. Through impeccable master planning, programming inspiration, brand identity engineering and menu curation, he aspires to reclaim the spirit of hospitality and redefine what it delivers to guests.

Mr. Talbot's journey in the industry began at the age of nine, when he was an assistant to his mother in her restaurant business. Taking on various tasks, such as cleaning, stocking shelves and washing dishes, he continued to follow his mother's lead through high school. He subsequently ventured into nightclub operations while at university, gaining valuable early entertainment experience. Following a brief digression into a career as a professional cowboy, he refocused on hospitality and went on to amass extensive experience in various sectors of the industry, including the cruise ship and casinos sectors, and as the owner of various nightclubs and restaurants.

With abundant experience managing corporate, multi-venue, and multi-concept organizations, including several international corporate entities, Mr. Talbot delved into the field of marketing to gain insight into his chosen industry from a different perspective. In this capacity, he established the entertainment and hospitality division of a PR marketing firm in Boston and New York. After returning to the corporate sector for a time, Mr. Talbot resolved to establish his own venture, founding the Hospitality Arts Group alongside a talented team of veteran designers and his brother, Jarett, a renowned chef who serves as a culinary consultant.

Well-regarded for his innumerable contributions to the hospitality and entertainment industry, Mr. Talbot's expertise has been sought in the form of numerous public appearances on network television, as well as speaking tours at various companies and academic institutions, including Boston College and Suffolk University. He is also a prolific consultant in his field and performance coach, through which he has helped several C-suite executives reach their full potential. Likewise, Mr. Talbot has published many articles through national online publications, co-written cookbooks, and collaborated with some of the greatest talents in the culinary arts including many Food Network chefs and celebrities.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Talbot is a tireless philanthropist – as the founder and primary consultant at Project Goodwill, he leads a grassroots humanitarian effort to raise awareness and funds for various nonprofit and community-based organizations. In addition to his many undertakings over the decades, he has become an industry icon encouraging communities to pay it forward through his inspirational "Goodwill Travels," project that includes having worked closely with and in support of homeless shelters, animal rescue organizations, senior citizen groups and at-risk youth, among many others.

As a testament to his accomplishments, Mr. Talbot holds several accolades for his philanthropic efforts, including a Certificate for Outstanding Service and Dedication from the Muscular Dystrophy Association, a Citizenship Award from the City of Calgary, Canada, a Compassionate Contributor Award via the St. Baldrick's Foundation, a Governor's Citation from Governor Deval L. Patrick of Massachusetts and an Outstanding Community Partner Award from the Boston Firefighters Local 718 IAFF. In accounting for his outstanding success, Mr. Talbot credits the significant role mentorship has played in his career trajectory – he considers himself fortunate to have enjoyed the support of a professional network that both encouraged and challenged him to exceed all expectations. Fluctuating circumstances have been a hallmark of his professional journey, and he remains ever grateful for the guidance of exceptional teachers.

Looking ahead, Mr. Talbot aspires to continue his efforts to leave a lasting impact on the public perception of hospitality, encouraging more operators to adopt a community-centric approach. Likewise, he is determined to deepen his charitable endeavors and engage in further goodwill efforts in the years to come.
