A seasoned financial expert with years of expertise in structuring complex transactions, Ms. Middleton excels as a member of NHD Group, LLC, specializing in affordable housing development. She structures affordable housing transactions within the constraints of section 42 of the IRS code and has considerable knowledge of low-income housing tax credits. Likewise, she collaborates with municipalities and officials to discuss housing needs, zoning regulations, and ordinances, liaises with state funding agencies to establish relationships to determine paths to fund critically needed housing, and works with architects, engineers, and general contractors regarding design and building.
During the early stages of her career, Ms. Middleton gained valuable expertise in low-income housing tax credits with New Horizons Development, LLC, Pearl, Mississippi. She has expanded her knowledge and gained further experience as a housing development consultant with prestigious groups such as The Michaels Organization – New Jersey, The Paces Foundation - Georgia, Southern Management Group – Mississippi, Knight Development - Mississippi, and others. Before establishing herself professionally, she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Louisiana Monroe. Subsequently, Ms. Middleton expanded her professional knowledge by completing a master's degree in religion and education through the Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.

In conjunction with her work, she contributes to her community through the Grace Baptist Church in Brandon, Mississippi.
While her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Middleton receives the most joy for her involvement in developing over 2,500 units for lower-income families. Though hard work and dedication have brought her far in her career, she credits her success to her dedication to learning and her ability to surround herself with talented architects, engineers, CPAs, lawyers, and other like-minded professionals. Additionally, Ms. Middleton notes that she would not be where she is today without her mentors, George A. Provias, Louis M. Jurney, and David L. Strange.
In the next three to five years, Ms. Middleton aims to expand her presence in assisted living housing. Her ultimate goal is to establish a Mississippi facility catering to individuals transitioning between independent senior living and nursing care. By offering a middle-ground option, Ms. Middleton hopes to provide a supportive and reliable environment for seniors, ensuring they do not have to face their golden years alone.
