Steven Andrasz Celebrated for Dedication to the Field of Financial Management

BEAVERCREEK TOWNSHIP, OH, July 16, 2024 - Steven Andrasz has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Drawing on decades of financial management expertise, Mr. Andrasz excels as a financial subject matter expert with the Bering Straits Native Corporation, where he created financial deliverables supporting AF-wide logistics information technology and process transformation. In this capacity, he provided numerous estimates of IT systems for budget submissions and acted as a resource adviser for the office's $10 million budget. In addition to his work with the Bering Straits Native Corporation, Mr. Andrasz was a consultant specializing in financial analyses through Morgan Borszcz Consulting.

Previously, Mr. Andrasz was a level three associate for Booz Allen Hamilton where he led financial efforts to estimate costs for s business case analysis for the KC-10 Tanker Aircraft. During the early stages of his career, he gained valuable expertise in the United States Air Force, serving as Chief of the Economics Branch within the deputy assistant secretary for cost and economics, squadron commander and comptroller, chief of the accounting operations branch, chief of the base support and integration section, flight commander, weapon system cost analyst, and cost analysis staff officer. During his career, Mr. Andrasz served as the chief financial officer of a military base with 4,000 military and civilian employees, managed six staff responsible for monitoring accounting operations for the United States Pacific Air Forces, and published an Economic Impact Statement detailing monetary and job impacts on the local community.

An expert in his field, Mr. Andrasz earned a Bachelor of Science in industrial administration from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1986 and a Master of Science in systems management from the University of Southern California in 1989. Subsequently, he expanded his professional knowledge by completing a master's degree in military operational art and science at the United States Air Force Air Command and Staff College and various financial certifications through the International Cost Estimating and Analysis Association and the United States Air Force.

Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Andrasz aligns himself with the American Society of Military Comptrollers and the Association of Government Accountants. Dedicated to his community, he has also contributed to the North Pole Alaska School Board, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Dayton Rescue Mission. Due to his vast knowledge and experience, he authored "Initial Guidance on Business Case Analysis." Similarly, Mr. Andrasz has been honored with the Elmer Staats Federal Leadership Award from the Association of Government Accountants, the Undersecretary of Defense Award for Technological Innovation and Improvement, and the Best Financial Management Analysis Officer Award through the Air Force Material Command. While his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Andrasz takes the most pride in earning six best in Major Command and two best in Air Force awards for his work through the Air Force and the Department of Defense.

Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, he credits his success to his parents and a few teachers who have encouraged him. Looking toward the future, Mr. Andrasz intends to experience continued growth and success in his career.
