Biography
Space Circus, was formed in 2012 within the Chinatown area of Los Angeles. They discovered each other while hanging out at clubs like Low End Theory and during Ableton Live workshops. The group made a name for themselves playing live, choosing to perform with laptops and MIDI controllers like the Novation Launchpad at The Grand Star Jazz Club. Space Circus members have produced for major record labels, toured the world, and performed on stage with well known artists.
Their known for the eclectic sounds that are delivered on stage. In one given night they will melt your heart with the smooth melody of chill-out and make your ears bleed with hardcore bass-driven beats.
Their music diversity also consists of hip hop, house, drum and bass, jazz, ambient, funk, breakbeat, etc.
Space Circus showcases some of the finest new talent on the underground L.A. music scene. Which includes producers, DJs, singers, dancers, circus performers and other artists. Many have come to party, but they then become a part of the Circus.
Due to the extreme collaboration Space Circus members have played at the following type of venues: night clubs, charity events, music festivals, art galleries, coffee houses, street fairs, cruise ships, private parties, hotel venues, and even large concert halls.
