International dental cosmetics brand Swissdent’s ‘Extreme Whitening Toothpaste’ was reviewed in the May 2013 edition of Bite Magazine by Melbourne Dentist Dr. Harry Marget. Known for being gentle yet effective, Dr. Marget said of the brand’s top selling product that “it’s able to bleach out pigments that most other pastes won’t touch”.
Dr. Marget, Principal Dentist of East Bentleigh Dental Group and owner of Dental Business Solutions is a well-respected Melbourne Dentist. He discovered Swissdent overseas and started using it personally, and says he was “thrilled to discover that it was now available in Australia” and that he’s been “recommending it to everyone”.
Swissdent’s Extreme Whitening toothpaste can be used by any adult wanting whiter, brighter teeth, and is particularly suitable for those who have stains due to the consumption of coffee, tea, red wine and smoking. “It is a daily toothpaste, best used two to three times daily without rinsing at night time” says Swissdent Australia General Manager Sandra La Scala.
Standing out from other whitening toothpastes, Dr. Marget says it uses “true micro-technological particles”. Ms. La Scala explains this is a patented bleaching technology unique to Swissdent that is so gentle that “even people with sensitive teeth, who may not be able to use strong bleaching products, can use it”.
The powerful cleaning properties of bromelain and papain (fruit enzymes found in pineapple and papaya) are cleverly used as opposed to supermarket toothpastes containing Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (all Swissdent products are SLS free). Promoting healthy teeth and gums are fluoride, Vitamin E, and co-enzyme Q10 which Dr. Marget says “stimulates new cell growth and protects the gums against any inflammation”.
