Charlotte, North Carolina—Skilz Athletics today announced a partnership with Payton’s Promise Child Abuse Prevention Center to work towards eliminating bullying. The initiative spearheaded by Ken Abner, Skilz Athletics Founder, and Sebastian Jones, Peyton’s Promise Board Chair, will focus on tooling students with bullying prevention tactics as well as school supplies and athletic competition opportunities.

The Bully Prevention Book Drive starts on May 20, 2013 with a goal of 1000 book bags stuffed with school supplies. Skilz Athletics bowling league is also opening up a youth division to encourage young people to get involved with bowling as a means to learn a new sport to compete for scholarship money while keeping busy to stay out of trouble. The first bowling event to include youth bowler is scheduled for August 2013.
