An accomplished senior instructor with years of expertise in environmental awareness, water resource management, and business process improvement, Mr. Donohoe's work has significantly impacted the environment. As the president of Preparedness Plus, he has spearheaded numerous initiatives that have substantially improved environmental conditions. Previously, as a senior preparedness instructor for Precision Planning and Simulations, Inc., he conducted preparedness and incident management training events for DLA and DOD personnel, contributing to a more environmentally conscious approach to their operations. Over the years, he also served as the senior vice president of Tioga Environmental Consultants, Inc. In this capacity, Mr. Donohoe increased net revenue by over 300 percent from $420,000 to $1.3 million within one year, demonstrating his ability to drive positive change while maintaining financial success.
During the early stages of his career, Mr. Donohoe gained valuable expertise in the field in executive roles with Pickering Environmental Consultants, Corbett & Holt, LLC, and the United States Coast Guard, where he served from 1971 until 1994. Likewise, he was a representative of the United States government for Amoco Cadiz Oil Spill. An expert in his field, Mr. Donohoe earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Wheeling University in 1971. Subsequently, Mr. Donohoe received a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School.
In conjunction with his work, Mr. Donohoe contributes to his community as a chapter organizer for the International Childbirth Education Association and as the coordinating director of The Mid-South American Red Cross. Due to his vast knowledge, he authored "Contingency Plan: Useful Tool of Bureaucratic Burden." He has also been honored many times, earning the Outstanding Military Member of the Year Award from the Greater Memphis Chamber and the Coast Guard Office of the Year from the Navy League of the United States.
While his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Donohoe takes the most pride in serving as vice chair of the national response team after the Exxon Valdez oil spill in 1989. He helped craft and implement nationwide preparedness policies. Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, he credits his success to his understanding of implementation processes. Within the coming years, Mr. Donohoe intends to experience his career's continued growth and success.
