He subsequently earned a master's degree in mechanical engineering in 2004 and a doctorate in mechanical engineering with a specialization in microelectronics in 2008, both from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

His pursuit of excellence is most evident in his achievement of becoming a Six Sigma Black Belt certified professional in early 2020, marking him as the first person in IBM to attain this certification in the last decade.
