Earlier in his career, he was a founder and partner at Pathways, where he contributed significantly to the development of their employee benefits strategy including a member advocacy program, and led business development at Konect Marketing.
Mr. Leatherberry's educational background includes an Associate of Science in CAD engineering from Northwest Technical Institute in 2003. Further enhancing his expertise in the field, he became a Certified Associate Advisor through Health Rosetta in 2019. This certification, along with his perseverance and tenacity, has been instrumental in his success and the positive impact Avergent has had on its members' lives.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Leatherberry is the proud founder of a nonprofit organization called Lauren's Hope, which aims to provide assistance and support to Americans who are unable to cover their medical expenses and require help coordinating services. Additionally, he has served on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin and ran a fundraising campaign for RIP Medical Debt.
