He has ambitious plans for the company including establishing attractions on 18 designated islands in six countries, with a cruise ship moored to the islands, filled with attractions including a golf course, fishing boats, helium balloon, day cruises, diving, etc. He plans to cater to the interests of his clients and indulge his desire to leave the beauty of nature intact.
Mr. Kuhlmann's career began at Marriott Hotels Corporation, where he was professionally trained, working with the founders, Willard and Alice Marriott and eventually worked as a sales representative and restaurant manager from 1965 to 1970 before taking the role of sales executive at the Washington Hilton Hotel. He also served as the Director of Sales, Marketing and F&B, at Meredien Hotel Corporation and as the Executive Vice President for Camelot Hotel and Casino. Following these roles, he expanded his expertise into event management as the Convention Director for the American College of Cardiology with conventions with exhibits to 15,000 attendees. Before founding his current company, he dabbled in entrepreneurship as the owner of RFK Associates.
Mr. Kuhlmann's educational background includes a doctorate degree at the school of hard knocks, which has played a pivotal role in shaping his approach to business and project development. His expertise in the industry is further demonstrated through his associations with several esteemed organizations, including the American Society of Association Executives, the National Association of Exhibit Managers, the Professional Convention Management Association and the Meeting Professionals International.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Kuhlmann is deeply involved in civic activities as a member of the prestigious Civic Entrepreneurs Organization and as a board member of five Chambers of Commerce and four YMCAs. He served as a consultant on the Miami-Dade light rail system in Miami, Florida. His achievements have been recognized by his inclusion in the "Top Ten" Influential People in St. Louis, Missouri.
In his personal life, Mr. Kuhlmann enjoys playing golf, tennis, fishing, camping, travel, and cooking in his free time. Looking ahead, he has plans to further expand his business footprint by establishing his World Headquarters in the Dominican Republic along with constructing a Corporate office and a Convention Center. Based on his previous service as a Director of Conventions, he is poised to create a new kind of meeting place, the first offshore "true" Convention Center, within 2 hours of America, and Latin America, that is both unique, flexible and capable of meetings and conventions, up to 1,600 attendees, with four attached, two hundred room hotels.
