Before establishing her practice, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from The University of the West Indies in Mona, Jamaica. Subsequently, Dr. Wright expanded on her professional knowledge, earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University's College of Dentistry, through which she was honored as the Most Outstanding Female Dental Student in her class. Likewise, she completed a general practice residency at Howard University Hospital.
