Prior to his recruitment at Corner Media, Mr. Boothroyd was appointed as the senior vice president of customer success with Home365 after serving as the vice president of global customer success and service for Genesys Cloud Services, Inc. for a number of years. Between 2013 and 2016, he thrived as the chief operating officer for a travel software company based in Ireland known as CarTrawler. Mr. Boothroyd had originally established his customer service expertise as the director of customer service for AOL, which is owned by Yahoo! Inc., between 1995 and 2004.
In 2015, Mr. Boothroyd played an instrumental role in CarTrawler's selection for a Customer Experience Award on behalf of a prominent market intelligence organization known as Ovum. Along with his ability to gain the trust of his customers, he attributes a great deal of his success to his reputation for treating his customers and colleagues with tremendous respect.
