Angie, who just yesterday said she was "confident" her fans would carry her to the American Idol finale, was obviously heartbroken to find out her dreams of winning were over.

Long considered a frontrunner in the competition, many bloggers and critics predicted she would be the next American Idol winner from early on in Season 12. After her amazing performance of her original song "You Set Me Free" during the Hollywood Rounds, Angie became THE contestant to beat this season and seemed to stay that way right up to the Top 3.

Even the morning of the Top 3 American Idol results show, most fan polls and blogger predictions had Angie Miller pegged as totally safe and either Candice Glover or Kree Harrison as the person who would go home.

Sadly for Angie Miller, her American Idol journey is now over. However, she will still be touring the country with the American Idols Live! Tour this summer. And we bet someone out there will realize what a jewel she is and sign her up to make a record pronto!
