DENTON, TX, January 24, 2024 - Darrell Ward has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Leveraging more than four decades of excellence in applying technology to assist classroom learning, Dr. Ward has earned distinction as the chief executive officer for ALL In Learning, that markets formative assessment technology platform that caters to the K–12 market. Since 2009, he has focused his efforts on offering student-response technology through response pads or display devices such as Chromebooks or iPads, collecting academic responses made by students and passing them along to teachers and administrators. He ensures the company delivers the right products to the market and that these products yield the desired results while managing the company from a strategic standpoint. Having introduced the concept of response pads in 2000, his company was the only one that sold and supported them for five years.
Prior to his current role, Dr. Ward founded and served as the chief executive officer for eInstruction from 1981 until 2008. In 1977, he published his first article, "A Computerized Lecture Preparation and Delivery System," realizing that computers would become increasingly important in the education market by 1980.
To prepare for his professional journey, Dr. Ward earned a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from Baylor University in 1966. Following this achievement, he attained a master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Iowa in 1968 and a Doctor of Philosophy in the same field of study from Texas A&M University in 1973.
Within the coming years, Dr. Ward intends to make interactive flat panels available to all K–12 schools in an equitable manner with all students engaged in the learning process. The initial efforts are focused on formatively engaging students in the K-5 math area helping to close that learning gap. His goal is to ensure all students have equitable access to these flat panels with interactive capabilities for all students.
