Mr. NDiaye is an expert in corporate finance. Originally from Senegal, West Africa, his academic excellence during primary school at Sacré-Cœur led him to be one of several students who passed the selective entrance exam for Prytanée Militaire de Saint Louis, a prestigious military academy in his country. Such an achievement played a pivotal role in shaping his success moving forward. Upon earning his baccalauréat, he attended Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, where he majored in English. In his junior year, Mr. NDiaye was one of seven selected to come to the United States as part of a student exchange program.
After immigrating to the United States, Mr. NDiaye attended Salem State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in finance in 1997. That same year, he was inducted into the Salem State College chapter of Delta Mu Delta National Honor Society in Business Administration. Soon after receiving his bachelor's degree, he pursued and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA), with a focus on international business from the Sawyer Business School at Suffolk University in 1999. Five years later, he went on to earn another Master of Science in Finance (MSF) from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University.
After beginning his career in finance as an accountant in the banking industry, Mr. NDiaye quickly worked his way up to managerial positions in various industries. Following his time in banking, he spent five years at the world-renowned Gillette Company. A series of significant contributions there led the Gillette Company to bestow upon him the YMCA Black Achievers Award in 2002. After passing the CPA exam, he earned his license to become a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Massachusetts in 2007. Along with his corporate job, Mr. NDiaye joined the academic world in 2007 to teach graduate-level courses at his alma mater, Suffolk University, as an adjunct professor of finance, a position he held for over a decade.
Mr. NDiaye continued his rise in the mutual fund industry at MFS Investments Management and at John Hancock, the Boston-based insurance giant, where he led a team in the variable annuities division. In 2013, he became the Head of Finance at Financial Recovery Technologies. Since then, Mr. NDiaye has led financial organizations in various contexts, showcasing his exceptional skills and expertise in the field.
In 2020, Mr. NDiaye stepped into the role of Director of Finance and Human Resources at Wildlife Acoustics Inc. and rose to the role of Vice President in 2022. In his current position as Chief Financial Officer, he is focused on managing all financial actions of the business.
In all he has accomplished, Mr. NDiaye's hard work, dedication, and achievements speak volumes about his abilities. From an early age, his parents instilled in him a strong work ethic and a sense of integrity, which have served as the foundation for his achievements. Along with the support of his family, he credits his remarkable success to the upbringing his parents provided him and his siblings. He is especially grateful for his late mother's steady and steadfast love and care, particularly after the death of his father when he was 10 years old.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. NDiaye previously held the position of board member and treasurer for a not-for-profit organization. For his involvement, he was honored with the Ruth Bigwood Voice for Justice Award in 2012. Looking ahead to the next five years, Mr. NDiaye's top priority is to use the transformative power of finance to create value across various endeavors.
As a leader in the field, Mr. NDiaye firmly believes there is ample room for more growth. He is also focused on growing his personal investments across several asset classes to build generational wealth and enable his commitment to making a positive impact on less fortunate individuals and communities.
