CHARLOTTE, NC – Mark Frietch, will make a formal announcement of his candidacy for an at-large seat on the Charlotte City Council on Thursday, May 9th, at 11:30am on the 4th Street Plaza at Charlotte Mecklenburg Government Center.

Frietch plans to join the Charlotte City Council race as a Republican. He has lived in the Charlotte area since 1988 and is the owner of a social media consulting company, TAC Services, LLC. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Mark has an extensive background in recruiting and the use of social media for branding small and medium size businesses. In discussing his anticipation of the announcement, Mark said "I am excited about this new chapter in my life and I look forward to sharing the news".
