VALLEY VILLAGE, CA, December 22, 2023 - Ivan M. Rosenberg has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Dr. Rosenberg is recognized for his visionary advocacy work as founder and president of the Uniquely Abled Project, a first-of-its-kind collaboration with the business community that creates vocational opportunities for the uniquely abled by matching their abilities to jobs in demand. A leader in the Southern California business sector, Dr. Rosenberg also spearheads the Aerospace and Defense Forum, which brings together industry leaders to discuss advancements and challenges, and serves as managing partner for InVista Associates, a management consulting firm that helps clients solve critical business problems. He is the recipient of an Exceptional Business Award from the Exceptional Children's Foundation.
Prior to founding the Uniquely Abled Project, Dr. Rosenberg served as longtime president and chief executive officer of Frontier Associates, Inc. and sat on the boards of directors of CyberNet Communications. Earlier in his career, he founded Business Information Solutions, Distinctive Solutions Corporation, and Systems Design Associates, and he taught at California State Polytechnic University and the Rochester Institute of Technology. In the 1960s, Dr. Rosenberg served as a systems research engineer at The Foxboro Company, where he was a member of the advanced research group that focused on controlling processes such as those involved in oil refineries.
The impetus for founding the Uniquely Abled Project came from Dr. Rosenberg's own experience as a father to two children, both of whom were born with autism. As his children grew and entered the job market, Dr. Rosenberg's passion for helping individuals with disabilities was ignited, and he found that his extensive business background provided a strong background for his newfound mission. Looking back over his wide-ranging career achievements, Dr. Rosenberg takes the most pride in founding the Uniquely Abled Project, which he sees as a testament to his compassion and a step toward making a difference in people's lives.
An active force in the business, civic and philanthropic worlds, Dr. Rosenberg is a board member of Helping Adults with Autism have Productive Employment, and was an executive council member of Advanced Manufacturing Partnership for Southern California, and a member of the Los Angeles Mayor's Advanced Manufacturing Council, the Global Trade and Investment Council, and the Aerospace Advisory Council. He was also on the Board of the California Wildlife Center and the Los Angeles Venture Association, and he was a member of the Morro Bay City Council.
Dr. Rosenberg holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree, both in electrical engineering, from Cornell University, as well as a master's degree in computer science, also from Cornell. He also holds a PhD in management from the University of Rochester Simon Business School.
