With a keen eye on student recruitment and retention, he integrates engagement through athletic events and a multitude of outreach efforts to further the school's mission. He is deeply committed to accountability, transparency, and the robust use of data to ensure the success of both short and long-term programs, benefiting both the students and the institution.
Having accumulated vast experience over the years, Mr. Keyes began his professional journey in 2006 at Albertus Magnus College as the director of residential life. His commitment to advancing the university's objectives was further recognized in 2021 when he transitioned to the rank of director of strategic initiatives. In this capacity, Mr. Keyes continued to bring forward-thinking strategies and leadership, thriving in the role through 2022.
With a foundational Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Fitchburg State University and a subsequent Master of Public Administration from the University of New Haven, Mr. Keyes's academic pursuits have paralleled his commitment to student life. His tenure at the University of New Haven also saw him serving as the residence director between 2004 and 2006.
Mr. Keyes is widely recognized for his consistent and valuable contributions. Among his accolades are the "Student of the Year" award in 2003 and a notable nomination for the NASPA Leadership Award in 2016. During his tenure at MIT, he was twice honored with the Infinite Mile Award.

His leadership in this capacity was indispensable, ensuring many students could safely continue their studies.
Attributing his success to discipline and a passionate drive to serve others, Mr. Keyes remains grateful for the continuous support from his wife, Ashley.
