FORT WAYNE, IN, October 23, 2023 - Brock A. Zehr, DBA, has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Leveraging more than three decades of business experience, Dr. Zehr has earned distinction as an associate professor of business and economics as well as a director of the Master of Business Administration program for Huntington University. Since 2015, he has focused his efforts on teaching undergraduate courses within the business department, including marketing management, finance and entrepreneurship while advising numerous students each semester. In his director role, he directs the program's operations, hires skilled faculty members, selects students and approves applications for the program. Additionally, he lends his expertise as a chairperson for the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce. Among his professional accomplishments, he was nominated for Professor of the Year and was admitted to the Golden Key International Honor Society.

Before starting his present role, Dr. Zehr began his career as a banker with Fort Wayne National Bank in 1986 and became the assistant vice president for the Professional Federal Credit Union in 1994. Following this period, he was a quality control analyst for Waterfield Financial in 1995 and worked as a mortgage lender from 2001 until 2009. At the same time, he served as the president of the Advance Settlement Funding Service, Inc. from 1999 until 2012. He also was a business instructor for the University of Phoenix starting in 2009, an adjunct business faculty for Indiana Wesleyan University in 2010 and held similar roles with both Huntington University in 2009 Ivy Tech Community College in 2011.

Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Zehr earned a Bachelor of Arts in marketing and management from Anderson University in 1986. Following this achievement, he attained a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2009 and a Doctor of Business Administration in entrepreneurship from Walden University in 2016. Additionally, he is a valued member of the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship and the Christian Business Faculty Association.

Within the coming years, Dr. Zehr intends to become more involved in different organizations such as the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship and the Christian Business Faculty Association. He will make positive contacts allowing him to rise to leadership roles within these organizations as well. Added to this, he recently developed a course for non-business students who are likely to enter the freelance market in their industries and will develop a workbook for publication based on this course.
