Mr. Corbin is a seasoned executive leader and entrepreneur celebrating more than 20 years of success in C-suite management roles. An alum of Princeton University, he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in economics and sociology, and earned a Master of Business Administration in management and finance from Harvard Business School. Mr. Corbin's career has been marked by a commitment to constant growth and professional development, and he has pursued opportunities for management training including a Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
During the early 2000s, Mr. Corbin fostered a reputation for high performance across the manufacturing and home furnishing sectors, serving as chief marketing officer and vice president of marketing for Home Meridian International between 2003 and 2006, and chief operating officer and senior vice president of Chromcraft Revington until 2007. Mr. Corbin was named chief executive officer in residence of the Hunt Private Equity Group in 2009 and president of Southerland Inc. in 2009, stepping down from his role with the company to become chief operating officer of the Steve Silver Company in 2011. During his five years with the Steve Silver Company, Mr. Corbin led change initiatives that earned him accolades including a 2014 Excellence in Ownership and Top Employee Stock Ownership Plan Award from the National Center for Employee Ownership. Mr. Corbin is also an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award winner, an honor he considers to be a professional highlight.
Mr. Corbin went on to serve as president and chief executive officer of Real Home Furnishings by Oak West before being named to the board and appointed chief executive officer of American Silk Mills in 2019. After two years with the company, he accepted the chief executive officer role with Remedi8, where he implemented numerous value-adding processes. Remedi8 is a portfolio company of Lincolnshire Management, Inc. and in 2022 Mr. Corbin was promoted to senior operating partner at Lincolnshire. Currently, Mr. Corbin brings his diverse expertise in market and process development, change management and strategic planning, and executive leadership to Lincolnshire Management, Inc.
As a thought leader in his industry, Mr. Corbin has been a member of the Harvard Business Review advisory council since 2013, and has lent his insight to others as the co-chair of the Central Virginia chapter of SCORE, where he donates his time as a business mentor. Outside his work in business leadership, Mr. Corbin is active in his community as a volunteer for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. A former member of the United States sailing team, Mr. Corbin retains his passion for the sport and volunteers to teach children and youth sailing skills.
