A seasoned land management accountant, Ms. Penny presently excels as the owner of Absolute Design with Style, which specializes in custom window treatments, blinds, flooring, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, staging, painting, and more. During the early stages of her career, she experienced considerable success as a country singer, touring with a number of prominent artists. After nearly losing her life to cancer, she pivoted in her professional life and decided to foster her love of interior design.
Driven to expand upon her professional knowledge of interior design, Ms. Penny earned an associate degree in the discipline through Red Rocks Community College in 1999. Outside of her work, she sings at senior living facilities and was previously affiliated with Women of Vision. In recognition of her professional achievements, she was inducted into the Colorado County Music Hall of Fame. Likewise, Ms. Penny was recognized as the first runner-up for Ms. Colorado in 2007.
While her career has been filled with standout moments, Ms. Penny takes the most pride in helping others. The cornerstone of her success lay in her determination to try new things and improve upon her skills. Similarly, she credits her grandmother, who instilled in her the belief that she could do anything a man could do. Within the next five to ten years, Ms. Penny aims to retire and focus on painting and singing for as long as she can.
