Previously, he worked as the chief strategist of SteynStorm Consulting, where he consulted for such companies as Fujifilm regarding e-commerce, online retail businesses, and business development plans. Over the years, Mr. Steyn worked as a business development manager for Fujifilm Canada, through which he liaised with various other organizations, including Costco, Shutterfly, Shoppers Drug Mart, Loblaws, Avis, Visa, RBC Bank, and Virgin Mobile.
During the early stages of his career, Mr. Steyn gained valuable expertise with The Central Group and Muscat Media Group. One of his earliest roles was that of publisher for Millennium Today Newspaper in South Africa, where he is originally from. Having amassed decades of business experience he is now a strategist for businesses in North America. Mr. Steyn holds a diploma in marketing management from Varsity College and completed a digital marketing course through Udemy. In recognition of his professional achievements, he won the Sales Achievement Award from Muscat Media and a Milestones Sales Award from The Central Group. While his career has been filled with standout moments, he takes the most pride in having written a book and establishing his own point-of-purchase company. Additionally, he notes becoming registered with Unilever Group South Africa as a highlight in his career. The cornerstone of his success lay in his faith, willingness to work hard and try new things, along with his upbringing. Which due to its challenges drove him to become very independent and self-reliant, which assisted him later in life. Outside of his work, he dedicates himself to those less fortunate through various Christian ministries through which he assists wherever possible, Mr. Steyn is affiliated with numerous organizations, including the local chambers of commerce. Within the coming years, Mr. Steyn aims to continue to help as many businesses reach their potential as possible. He celebrates over 16 years of marriage to Angie, and has two children, Gabriella and Eli.
